I bought this receiver from Ebay, taking a chance as I couldn't identify it, and so I could only guess as to it coverage and performance, as it happened it was MUCH bigger and heavier than I thought it would be but what a receiver, diecast construction covering 60khz to 35mhz double conversion 1.6mhz and 60khz rock stable with three levels of bandwidth and 16 valves this receiver oozes quality, all the valves and transformers have engraved labels and it has bare copper wiring!! no insulation, it must have taken weeks to make, a real handmade item, all the controls are in French, Sadly I had to sell this receiver as it was simply to big and heavy for my small shack, but I'll leave this page on for the pictures that someone may find interesting, if you have the room and the chance to buy one go for it you won't be disappointed.

I now know this Receiver is a AME 8G-1660 mk II thanks bernie
