This very early key was the largest and heaviest I've made so far, I always wanted a really large key and had to get it out of my system, it had really big bearings 22mm, mounted in 22mm water pipe housings, a really long arm that was fitted with a tension spring with big brass arches it was a giant key, in truth a bit to heavy.

Postscript. I saw this key for sale at a rally recently, it had suffered a bit with the ravages of time, also now with over 150 handmade keys under my belt I realise that this wasn't the best key I ever made, the action is stiff and a bit heavy, if the owner ever reads this and wants to foot the postage and ship it back to me I'll redesign it for free...
