This key was an early attempt at a duel purpose finger type key where the handle could be rotated to be either low slung or high up, the original design had a duel tension spring but after extensive use of the key I found it wasn't really necessary so removed it, the gap adjustment was also another experiment using the nose of the key as a sort of cam, it was redesigned and used quite a bit and was one of my favourite keys
