This is yet again another gravity key design, this time I've fixed sliding weights alongside the main arm of the key, for two reasons really, one is to have two weights working independently and the other reason is the weights don't have a stop as such ie don't hit the stop but have a very small amount of inertia in the axle, this has produced as I hoped it would a real spring to the action, it almost rings like a tuning fork, unlike any key I've used before, the amount of this "ring" can be altered by moving the weights towards the centre of the weight bar, it has turned out to be quite a remarkable key. and I use it a lot, its about as close as I can get to a small to medium size key working as well as a large heavy key, quite complex to make but well worth the effort involved.
