This is yet again another gravity key!! and again I was really impressed with the "Ringing Feel" of Key 048 so I've been trying a different aspect to the design, like the first two gravity keys the sliding weight is on the top of the key but in this case both ends are open as in Key 039 I did at first try fitting the weights in a copper tube cover, the weight adjusters appearing through a milled slot in the tube, but it didn't work well or look right, again the main arm of the key is lightweight Alloy to enhance the effect of the sliding weights, the bearings gap and tension adjusters are fitted, and I've tested the key, it a very crisp action similar to 048 but a bit heavier its a nice key with real subtle adjustments available to its balance
