This is another bits and pieces key, I recently saw a vintage key which had a flat brass body with large end caps where the adjusters fitted, so in the time honoured style I copied the basic design with a few YUH additions, such as quality ballraces and in this case a variation with the gap adjustment which is the wooden knob itself, fitted with a brass mount and locking ring, it also uses magnetic attraction as the tensioner, this has produced a very hard action, similar to many vintage keys, a really nice key with a distinctive vintage look.
