Let me introduce you to Key 080 my 80th key, I have put the experience of making over 80 handmade keys into this design, and it is without doubt I think one of the best performing keys I know of, its action is almost identical to the Amplidan 50713 it looks very simple but there are many hard won principles incorporated into it, in the dimensions, and materials used to make it, two of the magic ingredients are missing from this picture as its not quite finished, and there could of course be variants, as in the shape of the knob, adjusters and terminals, I prefer a low slung lollypop type but a standard upright button one could be easily fitted, it owes much to key 070 which was its predecessor and itself an exceptional action key, really this key ends the quest for me to find a simple yet superb performance key for my own use, I daresay I'll keep on building keys for fun but I doubt if I'll be able to surpass this one for performance.
