This is another long key 220mm, along the lines of my favourites 070, 080, 082, and 86, but this time a slender lightweight version, the main weight being in the bearing block and nose of the key, I've spent a little more time on the actual looks of this key as well as the action, a Christmas special :) I'm trying a different contact bridge with a slot that can be compressed to lock the gap adjustment, I've not tried this idea before, the key is now finished and it is excellent, really elegant and nice to use, I've used a tommy bar tightener for the gap adjuster which is nice as it can be adjusted for just the right amount of stiffness in the setting, and now after a lot of debate almost a year later I decided to Nickel plate it, looking at it I think its now one of the prettiest keys I've made with an action to match, I really enjoy using it.
