Well this is my 99th Handmade key, and I've decided on another fun key, I call any of my handmade keys with a revolutionary concept involved in the design a fun key, this type of key I really enjoy building, the main problem though is you never know what you have until they are almost finished, you never know if you have created a  functional piece of art or a telegraphic nightmare :) and another problem is recovering material costs, revolutionary Morse keys are fun to build and use but the average potential buyer of a Morse key doesn't usually care much for unusual design so a few of them have to stay here with me like a three legged dog, loved only by its owner :( Anyway this key is unusual in as much as it won't need a base!! it stands on its own feet or it could be placed on any flat plinth, I have taken a lot of time getting the dimensions and balance just right, it is now complete and I have to say I am very pleased with the results, it has a very quiet soft effortless action which is excellent, perhaps the nylon insulators have added to the feel of this key not sure, but I like it.
