This is a key along the lines of my 50th key, 050 was a very special key but being honest it was to say the least a bit big and heavy, I have incorporated in this key all the parts of that design that worked out well, i.e. the frame body with adjustable arm length and low level tension and gap adjustment, but it will be two thirds scale lighter and more agile than 050, I'm quite impressed, usually a key needs a few adjustments but this one has got a nice action from go, the clamp bolts are fitted so the handle can be easy positioned and I have made a brass weight that can be positioned at either the front or back of the handle or removed come to that, so the key can be made front or back heavy if required but it has a holder that it can be locked into when not in use, the back contact adjuster is not easy to use but once set is solid, it is one of those keys that you can play with for ages trying out the advantages of different key actions as back weighted or front heavy, its a very nice unique key and I've had a lot of fun making it and now using it. And now it has been Nickel Plated which is always a difficult decision you can see the difference between the two finishes
