This is another key based on my 80 series design, basically the same but with experimental bearing holders, these are large 22mm ball race bearings held in 22mm brass rings sweated onto support arms, with a ring type contact post, there is something magical in this design I still can't quite put my finger on it but the action is superb, another typical 80 series performance, the large bearings certainly seem to enhance it, I have tried to simplify the construction by using the Oak base as a fixing for the bearing plates instead of a flat brass section, which seems to work well. the Nickel plating seems to suit it, nice one :)
