This is key 135, it started life as an experimental key where I was going to incorporate a shock absorber in the front contact post, this didn't turn out as well as I had hoped so I resorted to plan B where the nose of the key was extended to include a spring leaf contact and the handle was reduced in size near the knob, the result is a stocky well balanced key with a lovely solid but lightly sprung action, Anyone familiar with different types of Morse key design will recognise the classic design points of some famous keys in this one, The front gap adjuster is from the well known Amplidan key as is the sunk in tension adjuster, the huge open bearings are typical Marconi, and the solid black base taken from the British PS.213 type, side terminals on the bearing mounts are are typical vintage marine. Usually modifying a design half way though construction is bad news as it involves more work than if the whole thing was scrapped and a fresh start made!! however in this key it was worth the effort as it has produced a quite unique design. I have made a second knob for it as my critics tell me a typical skirted  knob would look better, both types are shown, A nice key if a little over engineered :()
