| This is a fairly close copy of an Oller key,
first of the wonderful Nordic range of keys, most of the metalwork is done,
I have tried to give the brass a semi vintage look, the two screws on the
spring contact need replacing as they are a bit bright as does the spring
but they are the fiddly bits to sort out later, the bearing block is just an
imitation of the original sleeve bearing, inside this one are miniature
quality ballraces, this is a really lovely key, it looks the part and has an
excellent action, I've been using this key quite a lot recently, most of my
keys are sold or for sale, but I'm having trouble parting with this one :() |
